Program Friday 10 August*
We will start at Youngstorget in the Oslo city centre. We will stop for lunch at the picturesque Ramme Farm. It has a famous flower garden as well as other cultural features of interest which should appeal to the whole family. Along the route there will be stops for the customary tests for both drivers and passengers.
In the evening participants will be free to do as they choose or they can sign up for one of the following activities:
       Dinner at the Ekeberg Restaurant
Sightseeing by tramcar with catering service included, or
A fjord tour with the veteran steamer DS Børøysund with catering service included.
We highly recommend the fjord tour for our international guests.

Please note that we reserve the right to make changes to Friday evening's events.

Program Saturday 11 August
We will start in the Oslo city centre and follow the Lysaker River located west of the city. The river which was the lifeline for a flourishing industrial area for over 200 years follows western border of Oslo. We will show you the remains of the industrial sites which were once vital to the local economy.
From the Manor House of Bogstad we climb the Holmenkollen hill and have lunch at the Sporten Restaurant, located at the top of the hill. After lunch we will have a short drive downhill and stop at the Holmenkollen ski arena with its new ski jump which has become a major tourist attraction. Time permitting, we will visit the Holmenkollen Ski Museum where we will take the lift to the top of the ski jump, more than 60 meters above ground level. The lift is spectacular and the views are breathtaking.
In the evening we will meet at the Grand Hotel for the banquet with the Rally prize cermony and a special 60th anniversary celebration.

Program Sunday 12 August
We will start again from a central point in Oslo and dedicate the morning hours to study the sites of the industrial revolution. The remnants of the era are few and spread scarcely in our city today, but there are still points of interest of this bygone era. Our road book will then take us to certain points of interest in a part of Oslo which is under constant change and development. The rally will end at the Norwegian Museum of Science, Technology and Medicine where we will enjoy lunch and a guided tour of the Museum. Finally, we will go next door to the Veteran Club premises where the weekly Club evenings are arranged every Tuesday. Here rally plaques will be presented to the drivers before we head home in the early afternoon.

Conclusion
The rally committee looks forward to seeing you in Oslo. We promise an enjoyable and informative event with many points of interest but with a minimum of driving. This is a presentation of the essential information.
